Forest Friends
Welcome to Forest Friends, a place where friends can explore their love of nature, whilst playing, exploring and actively learning. Forest Friends is based within a large wooden gazebo which acts as a rich, stimulating environment, filled with awe, wonder and curiosity.
Each day is filled with new experiences from den building, climbing trees and nature exploration, where free play, fresh air, exposure to the natural world is our top priority. Our skilled and passionate educators guide the children through a variety of activities carefully designed to enhance their physical, social, and cognitive development. From building natural shelters and dens, identifying local flora and fauna and engaging in imaginative play, every moment is an opportunity for growth.
Nestled amidst the towering trees and changing leaves, our weekly Forest School sessions offer a unique and immersive learning experience for your children.
“My child loves being part of the outdoor classroom, he gets to explore nature and make a mess. Being outside all day means the environment is constantly changing which is really stimulating for children and has fantastic effects on their brain development. Being outside also helps to boost vitamin D levels and melatonin production, meaning that he settles to bed well and sleeps more soundly, he is calmer at the end of the day because he has been well stimulated. I can see the difference in him from when he has had days where he has been inside all day. I’m so happy that L is part of the outdoor classroom, I believe he has more learning opportunities being out there and nature provides the rest resources for learning we could use!
