We have strict security policies in place. There is an intercom system in the lobby area enabling us to only allow access to known visitors as well as a security camera. We also have in-house CCTV in every room, enabling management to oversee rooms at all times offering complete protection for all children and staff.

In January 2019, we were able to purchase a defibrillator after taking part in different events and raising money towards this. The defibrillator has pads included for children and adults and is available for the nursery and community to use.

We have a sign in / sign out entry system as well as photographs and passwords of all carers / parents. No child is allowed to leave with any person whom staff cannot identify or who is not the nominated contact person.

Visitors to the nursery - prospective new parents or maintenance workers, for example - must sign in and out and are closely supervised for the duration of their stay. At no time will they be left unaccompanied with any children. During nursery outings, the ratio of staff to children is increased and every trip is managed according to clearly defined safety policies.
